2001-05-24| 12:34 p.m. dancing i love dance. pretty much all forms of it. i always wanted to be a choreographer. i think that's the greatest thing you can do in dance. not a lot of people can do it well. you have to be able to feel the music in your entire body. your heart. your veins. in each limb. & you have to be quick. thinking that is. & it helps if you have a good memory so you don't have to pause as much to write it down. one of my favourite things to do when i'm home alone is to put on a cd. sometimes i'll put six in & put it on random. it's more fun that way. but anyway. put in a cd & just dance. make it up as you go along. whatever kind of dance you want. ballet. ballroom. even that funky cheerleader shit. although i don't usually have much form at all. especially not anything that resembles something you'd see at a pep rally. bleh. that's not real dance. but it's fun to just dance around without a care. without abandon. not worrying about who might see you because no one else is there. i'd say the next coolest feeling would have to be dancing in the rain. but that's slighty different. i haven't played in the rain in awhile. not since that time mir, me, maybe leelu or forrest, & smelly andrew dylan got caught on the drag in the rain. that was fun. we played around because we were gonna get soaked anyway so why not have fun doing it. the best kind of dancing about to do in the rain is the kind with arms out & your head looking up twirling about in circles. it makes me smile just thinking about it. & on that note - i have to get going got an interview & don't wanna be late. ~ciao~ |
