today. today i slept from about 11am-8pm. then i ate food. then watched tv. then i heard my roommates fucking. then i threw up. then i cleaned the kitchen. then i sat in silence reading my book. which i will talk about now.

i'm reading the book i got for christmas... blood and gold by anne rice. yes i read anne rice, fuck off. it's the latest story in the vampire chronicles. which went from a story focused on lestat which ended with memnoch the devil. after that she's added to the chronicles by picking one of the characters and writing an entire book about them. the vampire armand, pandora, merrick, and vittorio the vampire which i don't think i read that one...or maybe i tried but never finished. anyway. armand's story was...incredibly erotic. almost a bit too much for me. about the level that was in memnoch. pandora's story i don't really remember all of it, but i liked it i guess -shrugs- merrick. merrick i just finished and it was...not that great. it seemed forced and just a vessel for anne rice to talk about the history of voodoo. and it was "written" narrated whatever by one of my less favourite vampires. so anyway back to blood and gold. it is the story of marius. marius is one of my favourites. the only way i think she could beat this one would be by writing an entire book on akasha and enkil and why they were the way they were. but anyway marius is a roman patrician er was when he was stolen and made a vampire blah blah blah i will not bore you with too many details. just know that this is a good story so far. but i am getting dreadfully close to the part where he adopts armand and i do not like that story because it is sick. by sick i mean ...well basically it's vampire pedophilia. marius =old guy armand=like 13 bad bad bad. it wouldn't bother me as much if he had adopted armand to be like his son but he didn't because all of anne rice's vampires are apparently pedophiles with the exception of a couple she hasn't written about. i think anne rice has a very fucked up view of normal healthy relationships.

well that's the end of my ranting. i'm in desperate need of a shower and i want to read some more till i get sleepy.
