06/27/2002| 8:23 pm who sucked out the feeling? did you ever listen to a band and then forget you listened to them for whatever reason? yeah me too. then today i was reading some random diaries and i saw that Superdrag is still together. -dances- it amazes me that before i went to the dark but fun path of classic rock i gained a completely different taste in music than i used to have. i used to listen to ska/punk/emoish bands and stuff like that. i even dabbled in a little grunge. then there was this whole thing where i was christian and decided not to listen to "Secular" music. yeah i know i suck. anyway after that my music tastes changed but i still like to dance to old weezer and download lots of superdrag and remember what i was like when i listened to "good" music. yesterday was mir's 21st birthday. (yes she -also- has a diary now) we drank too much and i talked to too many people on the phone and made too many promises i can't keep. in other miriam news. we've decided to get married ;) in an egyptian wedding in vegas with bajoran earrings as rings to celebrate our hetero life mateness (like jay and silent bob duh). today we went to a luau thing at our complex. they had free food and soda. a local radio station was here (101X) and we won tickets to see minority report and miriam got a groove armada cd. we were -thisclose- to winning a ps2 or 10$. but the gods can only smile upon us so much. i'm gonna continue downloading music until my brain explodes or my harddrive screams in pain and talk to chris cuz he's the only one that loves me right now. there's just something about courtney love singing gold dust woman that makes me happy... |
