03/14/2002| 6:16 pm kisses from n'awlins new orleans is sooo fucking awesome! i can't believe i just said awesome. bah. anyway i am in the french quarter in this little internet cafe. i wouldn't have noticed it but i walked down this one street i hadn't been down yet as i've walked in cirles all day. i'll tell you the full story later. anywho this is short because i am hungry and tired from taking "artsy" pictures around the quarter all day. and i'm sticky from the powder sugar on the beignets i got from cafe du monde. it's famous. blah. they have GREAT cafe au lait. which is made from their special type blend of coffee and chicory. i'm still not sure what chicory is, but the locals tell me it is some kind of lettuce? root. it's supposed to make the coffee stronger/more bitter. anyway. my 30 minutes is up. nikolai sends her love from the big easy.
