dissension in whoville

"well it's been nice chatting with you, but i've got to go...." i think this wins the award for most used online lie. you know you're talking to someone random online. & then it hits. that lull. that part of the conversation where you've exhausted just about everything you'd like to talk about with the stranger on the other end. & the phrase pops up. "it's been nice chatting..." heh. i'm not complaining i think it's a great way to get rid of the other person without actually being like "um we have nothing else to talk about...bye"

another thing i like about the internet? how you can have the longest conversation with someone you have nothing in common with simply because you have nothing in common with them. an example...
two similar people:
a: I love this band!
B:oooh me too!do you like this other band?
a: yeah!
& so on & so on.
two people who aren't similar:
a:i love this band!
b:really? i like that band, personally. they blah talk about band. what do you like so much about this band?
a: well blah this band blah blah blah.
ok so this is a really horrid example. but you got the gist of it though i hope.

my aunt & my cousin are here. sigh. i just waved bye to my privacy it's taking a trip away for the weekend.

i'm really irritated with someone. & i finally realized why they're in the situation they're in. er i think i have it figured out.

do you remember that old saying from i think the 70s...if you love something let it go & if it was meant to be it'll come back? yeah i think it's stupid too. that was random & really has nothing to do with anything. ok well i'm off to bed - it's midnight & i gotta get up early - like at 845. heh. it's way early for me.
