12/06/2001| 1:00 am i lust d - period. first off i just want to say that vhd:bloodlust was everything i thought it would be and more. not only was the animation and character designs so much closer to the manga that the orignal vhd but hot damn d is sexy. and i loved the story. it was really sweet. a story of love overcoming all odds. i'm a hopeless romantic deep down inside. the end was ...surprisingly beautiful. oh and d is sexy. and the soundtrack. oh my lord the soundtrack. it was all retro vampire movie. you know? all the old school vampire movies had a similar theme to the music and the soundtrack to d screamed vampire film. it had all the classic mutant/monsters as the original, and also a brief visit to d's history. his hand is much more of a smart ass. his hand made me laugh. a lot. and layla's character was kick ass, if not a little stupid. the vampire boss in the movie was waay to easy to kill. hint: the vampire boss is not myer. as much as i loved this movie i wish they would have shifted a little of the story to the two lovers and how they actually fell in love. but then again it's a movie about d and not them. the voice actors did a good job. a lot better than the original. okay here's a little soapbox thing i have to rant about: i was watching jenny jones (shut up) and it was another stupid lie detector test and this guy has like 3 kids and jenny jones and this psychiatrist are all "dumbass, use a condom" and he in all his intelligence yells "condoms ruin the mood!" i mean hullo. children ruin the mood. stds ruin the mood. i can see it now: "hey lets do it"(guy) "no dumbass remember that kid we have? yeah *someone* has to take care of it"(chick) stupid idiots. *steps off soapbox* well anyway i have a test tomorrow that i haven't studied for so i should prolly sleep and stuff. nikolai is stressing. |
