40 days and 40 nights this movie is really funny. i saw it in the theatre and just watched it again on dvd. it's a comedy about sex, or the lack thereof. not much else to say then watch it - you'll laugh.

Changing Lanes this movie has ben affleck and samuel l jackson. it was super lame. no amount of jackson's screen time could save it from affleck's horrible acting and the really awful plot. affleck is a sleazy estate lawyer who cheats little kids out of charity money. he causes an accident with jackson that makes jackson late for his family court hearing where he loses custody of his kids. -yawn- lots of stupid "gimme my file - gimme my kids" blackmail and violence stupidness. if you're really bored and have seen everything else at the video store you can rent this, otherwise avoid it like the plague.

Monsters, inc everyone should watch this. it's cute and fuzzy. oh and funny. it's definitely better than...

Queen of the Damned i was really hoping that everyone who said this movie was awful was just mistaken. alas, they were not. this movie takes two of my favourite anne rice books and rapes them horribly. then after said raping it throws away the majority of the story but keeps most of the same characters. (where the hell was mekare?) i hate this movie more than anything. aaliyah was a horrible actress. the only characters i thought they cast well were jesse, marius, maharet, and lestat(stuart townsend is super cute). the only thing this movie is good for is a coaster, or maybe one of those cds people hang from their rear view mirrors.

Ted Bundy this movie was sick and twisted and disgusting- just like the man himself. it's a movie about...you guessed it- ted bundy. it's based on a true story so i'm not sure how accurate it is. but accuracy aside this is a definite watch. one thing i learned about him that i didn't know was the term serial killer was first applied to bundy. unless you're really aversive to blood and death you will like this movie. from the blurb on the back "if it were to happen again, would you see him coming?" scary. also a cool note is the actual trial footage they show and the reenactment of his execution (i have a new respect for cotton balls).

secretary this movie was about a secretary and a lawyer who get into a little D/s action. i'm really shouldn't say anything else other than i will never look at james spader the same way again. -melt- this is another definite watch.

so that wraps it up. in other news everything is still going great :) i couldn't ask for better friends or family. it's as if a great burden has been lifted from my life. see you next update. same bat time, same bat channel.
