The current mood of Nikolai at www.imood.com
i think one of the greatest fears of death that people have is will they be remembered. some people spend their whole lives working on this. some just want a little recognition - these people most likely work in the community trying to make a difference in just one person's life. then there are those who work at celebrity- in desperation these people can do some crazy stuff for recognition (see Guinness book of world records and stuntmen/daredevils). they can also be talented and become celebrities. the last category are those who don't try really to do either but still gain recognition. these people are the ones who just do what makes them happy and haphazardly impact the lives of many people.

being remembered has become a lot easier since the increase in popularity/accessibility of the internet.

maybe that's why we keep these online diaries. maybe we all secretly hope to be bobby burgess. at least then we know -someone- will remember us. there are lots of different reasons to keep a diary like this. you could be a writer trying to develop your skill, a compulsive diarist(like the guy who wrote down what he did every minute of everyday), to help you deal with personal problems, etc etc. but whatever the reason, i think deep down we all want to be a little like bobby.

thoughts, angry rants, and the like welcome. just check out the guestbook (also in primary navigation)
